Ilfracombe Home of Victorian Sunseeekers, a little quiet in the winter, but heaving from July to September. A guaranteed crowd any Wednesday evening. Highlight of their year is Victorian Week, when the whole town dresses up in their Topppers and Crinolines. Great fun, and hugely popular. We'll be there, mid-June
Combe Martin
Another seaside resort famous for having the longest High Street in the country. The carnival makes for a good appreciative crowd every August. 2002 saw it's bid to hold the Guinness World record for the longest street party for Jubilee
North Molton
Up on the edge of Exmoor. Always a warm welcome from the villagers, who turn out to watch as we take over the village square
Berrynarbor
Between Ilfracombe and Combe Martin, voted one of the prettiest villages in the country. Nowadays overrun with FlowerPot Men!
Appledore
Quaint, narrow streets and a fishing heritage make this a must to visit every year.

On the coast between Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. 3 pubs, a church and a chippie. All within stick-throwing distance. The natural arena of the square makes it perfect for audience enjoyment
Wimborne Folk Festival which completely takes over the centre of town. 2001 was our first visit, 2002 we stopped the rain with a minute to spare, and we've been back every year since.
